What To Expect
My Process
Step 1: A Conversation to See If We’re a Good Fit
Inner work is a deeply personal process, and it’s important that you feel comfortable working with me. Before we begin, we’ll schedule an initial conversation to discuss your needs, answer any questions you may have, and see if my approach feels right for you.
Step 2: Working Together
If we decide to move forward, we’ll begin our work with 60-minute sessions, where we explore your inner world, deepen your connection with your parts, and support your healing process at a pace that feels safe and right for you. If you are not yet familiar with IFS, I can provide some reading/video material or focus on an introduction to this method in our first sessions.
Step 3: Beyond the Sessions
While our sessions provide space for insight and healing, I believe that the real transformation happens in your everyday life. My goal is not for you to depend on our sessions, but to help you build a strong, ongoing relationship with your parts so that you can navigate challenges with confidence and self-compassion.
Occasionally, I may suggest reflections, journaling, or small practices to help you continue engaging with your parts between sessions. These are always optional and meant to support your process in a way that feels natural to you.
A Safe and Affirming Space
My practice is explicitly welcoming and affirming of LGBTQIA+ individuals, gender-expansive identities, and non-conventional relationships. I recognize that mainstream therapy models often fail to fully honor diverse experiences, and I am committed to providing a space where you can explore your identity and relationships without fear of pathologization or misunderstanding.
Whether you are working through personal struggles, or seeking a deeper sense of self-connection, IFS can support you with warmth, curiosity, and respect.
